თბილისში კონტაქტური კარატეს ევროპის ჩემპიონატი დაიწყო, რომელიც 27 ივნისს დასრულდება. საქართველოს კარატისტთა ნაკრებმა პირველ დღეს 4 მედალი მოიგო – 3 ოქრო და 1 ვერცხლი.
აღსანიშნავია, რომ ერთ წონით კატეგორიაში ქართული ფინალიც ვიხილეთ, ხოლო გარდა მამაკაცებისა, ოქროს მედალს საქართველოს ქალთა ნაკრების წევრიც დაეუფლა.
65-კილოგრამამდე წონით კატეგორიაში ქართული ფინალი შედგა. სერგო მოვსესიანმა და ანდრეი ზინჩენკომ კარგი შეხვედრა გამართეს, რომელიც ზინჩენკოს გამარჯვებით დასრულდა.
75-კილოგრამამდე წონით კატეგორიაში ლაშა ოზბეთელაშვილმა შვედ ალი ჰაიდერს აჯობა და ოქროს მედალს დაეუფლა. ლაშამ ფინალამდე უნგრელი მეტოქის დამარცხება შეძლო. აღსანიშნავია, რომ ოზბეთელაშვილმა ორივე მეტოქესთან კარგი სანახაობა შემოგვთავაზა.
თეონა გაზდელიანმა ნახევარფინალურ დაპირისპირებაში უკრაინელ ანასტასია ოსოკინას აჯობა და ფინალში ხორვატ მიკა ჯაკობაცისაც აჯობა და 50-კილოგრამამდე წონით კატეგორიაში ოქროს მედალს დაეუფლა.
